Hello! I am an 18 year old university student who loves gaming in my free time. I live in Australia and I am contactable every day via email.
I have not worked as a game tester before, however I have participated in many Beta tests for games such as World of Warcraft, Heroes of the Storm alpha, Hearthstone, Elder Scrolls Online, and many others. I always give feedback on many aspects of the game, and believe I am able to understand basic technical issues.
I have been a gamer for most of my life, my father sat me in front of the computer for the first time when I was around 3, and let me play some Reader Rabbit, and I was given my very own first PC when I was around 6 or 7. I know about PC hardware, and upgrade my PC regularly. I currently own 3 different operating systems, Windows VISTA, 7 and 8, and I own an Apple iPhone iOS7. So I can test from a variety of systems.
I am willing to test games from a gamer's perspective, if you are looking for a programmer, I suggest you look elsewhere, I have minimal knowledge of programming. I will be able to look at your game from the eyes of a majority of the player base, and be able to give you feedback on the shiny parts of your game, rather than the deep in's and out's of the game's code. I will be able to report any major or minor bugs I notice, give feedback on what needs tweaking, spelling errors, grammatical errors, the look and feel of the game, basic tech issues, and I will give my honest feedback on whether I believe the game has potential to become something great, or to fall back and become a standard, 'nothing new' type of game.
I give constructive criticism as well as general feedback. My responses can be in either video or text format, or both.
If you are interested you may contact me at andrew.noorbergen@hotmail.com. I am available every day, but not every hour, please allow at least 48 hours for me to respond to your email, and at least 2 weeks for me to complete your game and create your preferred format of response.
Thanks!
